Play Group - 2 Years and Above
The Playgroup program is suitable for children of 2+ years.
Little Elly’s playgroup program is an extension of home. Often, this is the first time the child comes away from the comfort of familiar people and surroundings at home and steps into an unknown world. At Little Elly, we do our best to make the transition smooth and hassle-free. We strive to provide the child with an environment that will jump-start his/her developmental process. We succeed by using age-appropriate materials and help the child acquire knowledge and understanding of practical concepts through innovative learning and play. This program helps the child develop his/her latent creative, language and maths skills.
Nursery 3 years and Above
The Nursery program is suitable for children of 3+ years.
Little Elly’s nursery program provides the foundation for learning of key essential skills. It includes pre-writing, pre-reading, pre-maths, science and social skills. These are taught in a natural and logical sequence; thereby encouraging the child to learn a step at a time.
Curriculum activities such as monthly thematic programs, specific weekly topics and daily learning, keep the child focused on academic learning through exploration. These also encourage self-initiatives, build curiosity and persistence in the child.
Extra-curricular activities include art and craft, dramatized plays, role plays, inter-personal and social interaction. These ensure that the child explores his/her creativity, relates learning to everyday life and builds confidence and self-esteem.
The nursery program is crafted around the age appropriate needs and skill sets of the child. This encourages his/her overall development by offering a stimulating environment that combines learning and play.
Kinder Garden - 4 years and Above
Little Elly’s kindergarten is a program to prepare the child for primary school education. It facilitates the smooth transition from pre-school to a structured learning environment and formal school.
It is an extension of the learning and assimilation of information gained by the child in the preceding two years in nursery and playgroup. The two kindergarten years focus on enhanced writing and reading skills, simple and complex everyday maths skills, science, social and extra-curricular activities.
Little Elly’s LKG program focuses on the child’s social skills. It builds his/her ability to interact and deal with peers, teachers and others around him/her. Curriculum activities are centred on monthly themes and provide an organised atmosphere for learning. The encouraging and nurturing environment promotes confidence and independence in the child.
Little Elly’s UKG program is a comprehensive, focused and skill-based program. Specific activities are tailored towards the individual child’s skill sets. Working in a group, sharing ideas, listening, interacting with peers and teachers form the basis of the curriculum. Continuous development of language skills and learning makes this program the perfect way to groom the little one for his/her big debut into full-time formal schooling.
